The structure concerned with sexual reproduction in the Angiosperms. Essentially it consists of the male organs (androeciuym) comprising the stamens, and the female organs (gynoecium) comprising the ovary, style(s) and stigma(s), usually surrounded by a whorl of petals (the corolla) and a whorl of sepals (the calyx). The male and female parts may be in the same flower (bisexual) or in separate flowers (unisexual).
